The interesting distribution project of our customer included the positioning of the first containerized ice-cream parlor at Cagliari - Elmas airport.
The project involved the construction of a prefabricated containerized ice-cream parlor containing all the equipment necessary for the distribution of a new ice-cream brand in Europe. The new brand exalted the food characteristics of the product which required special attention during storage.
For this purpose, the container - built with a steel-bearing monolithic structure - has been equipped inside with machinery and refrigerating display cases typical of the artisan production.
The completely conditioned ice-cream module was equipped with a technical compartment containing conditioning units and compressors for the refrigerating compartment.
The interior floor was equipped with porcelain stoneware tiles, with a channel to facilitate internal cleaning. The restroom, accessible from the outside, was inclusive of chemical toilet and sink.
Outside, the module was equipped with insulated aluminum opening doors to open the rooms for public service. On the same side, two large and sturdy boards covered with slip aluminum allowed the creation of a patio that was particularly useful for the positioning of tables and chairs for customer service.
This project was a pioneering project whose development will lead, in the coming years, to various openings at the main Italian air hubs.
